Sportsbet releases new TV ads with fresh set of problems for punters to overcome

Online bookmaker Sportsbet has launched its latest TV campaign for mobile betting with the group of friends used in previous ads returning for another series of commercials.

The three 30-second slots see a “a few everyday relatable truths to life”, according to the company, as the brand continues to use humour to promote its booking app.

In one ad, the friends struggle to find a mobile reception while a second execution sees one of them struggle with his shopping while making a bet, under the judgemental glare of his next door neighbour.

The third spot is set in a gym with one left stranded using weights while his mate wanders off to make a bet.

“Our previous TV campaign was very well received so we thought that we’d bring back the main players,” Sportsbet.com.au PR manager Will Byrne said. “We’ve great confidence in the ability of our mobile app as the best in the market so the focus on the speed and ease was essential with this campaign.”
