Sputnik wins Schweppes
Soft drink brand Schweppes Australia has appointed Sputnik as its new digital agency of record.

Sputnik Agency Melbourne has been appointed by Schweppes Australia as the new digital agency of record for the client’s Schweppes brand. The win strengthens Sputnik’s national foothold in the highly competitive FMCG online arena, adding to its blue-chip client list that includes Johnson & Johnson in Sydney and Sanitarium.
“We felt that the Sputnik proposal was best placed to assist Schweppes in building an emotional connection with the next generation of Schweppes loyalists,” said Darryn Wallace, Marketing Director, Schweppes Australia.

Schweppes is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asahi breweries and is a manufacturer, distributer and marketer of well known brands such as Schweppes Classic Mixers, Schweppes Mineral Waters, Schweppes Lemonade and the exotic Schweppes Agrum Collection.
As part of the pitch process, the Agency challenged itself to create a branded digital experience that was both unique and new to the category.
