State of Origin pulls in 2.5m for Nine, but Mat Beyer eviction still rates for Masterchef
Last night’s State Of Origin decider rated a massive 2.468m for Nine on Wednesday night. However, the big game failed to dent Ten’s audience for Masterchef which saw 1.701m tune in to see the disqualification of contestant Mat Beyer.
Nine’s reality contest The Block also fared well with 1.38m tuning in, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
Taking into account regional Australia, State Of Origin averaged 3.765m – a record for the game since OzTam rankings began.
