Strong start continues for My Kitchen Rules

Seven’s decision to launch its new series of My Kitchen Rules ahead of next week’s return to the official ratings season appears to be paying off, with Monday’s debut of 1.206m being topped by Tuesday’s episode rating 1.278m.

However, the series return of US drama Parenthood fared slightly less well for Seven, with the double episodes pulling in 726,000 and 679,000 according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Meanwhile, Ten’s night was mixed, with NCIS the top show of the night with 1.441m. However 6PM With George Negus rated 443,000, below its 500,000 target and well behind Seven News (1.298m)  and Nine News (1.213m).

In the 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 demographic, My Kitchen Rules was the most watched show.
