Superloop consolidates agency roster with Publicis Groupe

Challenger internet provider Superloop has appointed Publicis media agency Zenith Australia to handle media strategy, planning, buying and research across all channels.

Mumbrella understands that a competitive pitch did not take place and an incumbent could not be confirmed, however, Omnicom Media Group’s (OMG) Hearts & Science were credited with media in the brand’s most recent campaign.

Zenith Australia’s Sydney office will commence work with Superloop from 1 March 2024, with the appointment marking the consolidation of Superloop’s agency roster under the Publicis Groupe banner.

Creative agency of record, Leo Burnett launched its first work for the client in March, while Publicis digital agency Digitas will also be engaged on a project basis to provide digital transformation solutions for the business.

Leveraging the ‘Publicis Connected Platform Model’, Zenith Sydney managing director, Jonny Cordony, said the agency was delighted to “partner with Leo Burnett on the exceptional strategy and creative work in ‘Refresh Your Internet’ alongside combining with digital and UX engagement through Digitas.”

Superloop was launched in 2014 and is one of Australia’s fastest internet service providers, with over 350,000 customers. The latest appointment comes as the business will looks to further growth through building brand awareness and consideration with new audiences through media.

Zenith’s remit will also include the management of Exetel’s media account, another internet provider owned by the Superlooop parent company.
