Survivor and Have You Been Paying Attention? claim top demographic spots, but Nine takes Monday night

Australian Survivor and Have You Been Paying Attention? have nabbed the top spots in all three of the key advertising demographics – 16-39, 18-49 and 25,54. Overall, 790,000 metro viewers tuned in for Australian Survivor and 747,000 watched Have You Been Paying Attention?

But the most-watched entertainment program overall was still Nine’s The Block with 906,000 metro viewers. Nine didn’t have the same success in the 8:40pm slot, with Karl Stefanovic’s This Time Next Year falling back to 588,000 metro viewers from 664,000 last week.

The most-watched program overall was Seven News on 1.051m metro viewers, while Seven’s top entertainment program was Home and Away with 653,000. 492,000 watching Highway Patrol at 7:30pm and 477,000 watched Motorbike Cops.

A Current Affair dropped to 805,000 from 832,000 last week when Pauline Hanson was filmed attempting to climb Uluru.

Nine held a winning audience share of 21.1% overall for its primary channel, ahead of Seven’s 17.0%, Ten’s 15.3% and ABC’s 13.0%. SBS held 4.5%.

In the network audience share, Nine held 28.6%, Seven 25.8%, Ten 20.5%, ABC 17.7%, and SBS 7.3%. 7Mate was the most-watched multi-channel on 3.7%.
