Sydney Radio Ratings: 2DayFM’s Dan & Maz see audience rise as Kiis slips to third in FM
Breakfast duo Dan Debuf and Maz Compton have enjoyed their first positive audience result of the year seeing their audience share in the timeslot rise by 0.9 to a share of 3.3 per cent.
While WSFM’s Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller’s show dropped 0.3 points they tied for share, and the lead in the FM Breakfast ratings, with sister Australian Radio Network station KiisFM’s Breakfast show with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, which fell 1.6 points to a share of 8.6
Neither could touch Breakfast king Alan Jones whose share jumped by 2 points to 16 on talkback station 2GB on AM, with the station enjoying a rise of 0.9 points overall to keep it at the top of the pile with a share of 12.9.

Triple MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Well done fellas!
Times are tough when a station on a 3.5 share gets a headline.
Not much between the FM shows.
A very tight market with smaller audiences for more shows
Well done to Dan and Maz who are now in the (crowded) race
I’ve always wondered what motivates those in the radio industry. The thrill of gathering in the program directors office 8 times a year to learn what a 30 ROS package will cost tomorrow? The cutting edge paper/sticker diary methodology? Or just a morbid fascination awaiting the day the last newly post teen turns off for the last time?
Well said The Sceptic.
