Telstra signs with The Video Network

Telstra is to use The Video Network’s technology on its sites, the company has announced.  

The announcement:

Telstra Advertising Network has signed with The Video Network to bring the latest video ad technology to BigPond, TradingPost and Telstra’s Partner sites.

Head of Telstra Advertising Network, Michael Padden, said in the last year video streams across the network have increased by 30%, and by updating Telstra Advertising Networks video streaming capacity clients will be able to take better advantage of the trend.

“By partnering with The Video Network, Telstra Advertising Network will deliver more TV ads on more devices with greater options for innovative creative executions. From mobile, to internet to T-Box, our clients will be able to use all our channels to advertise to their customers.” said Mr Padden

The Video Network delivers more than 1.5 billion video ads per month on a global scale through the latest technology from the US.

“The Video Network’s mission is about enabling internet TV, and this means supporting business models for the monetisation of video content. The result is more online video content for Australian viewers, and more advertising opportunities for brands. We are thrilled to partner with Telstra Advertising Network as we usher in the new era of Internet TV,” said TVN Co-Managing Director Joshua Iselin.
