The Block tops entertainment again, as Nine wins Monday
Nine’s The Block was the #1 entertainment program on Monday night, as the network also celebrated an overall network share win.
The Block brought in a metro audience of 944,000, while also winning all key advertising demos, and surpassing Nine News in metro audience.
Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? was next in entertainment, pulling in a metro audience of 695,000, followed by an episode of ABC’s Australian Story which had 549,000 metro viewers.
Ten’s Celebrity MasterChef brought in 527,000 metro viewers, while Seven’s The Chase Australia had a metro audience of 524,000. Ten’s SAS Australia – Hell Week pulled in a metro audience of 348,000.
The #1 program on Monday was Seven News which had 1.009 million metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 which aired to 989,000 while Nine News at 6:30 had 951,000 metro viewers, and Nine News on 937,000.
As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 30.2% over Seven’s 23.7%, while Ten had 21.1% and ABC took a 18% share.
Nine won the primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel on Monday was 7TWO and 10 Bold, both with a share of 3.6%.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 14 October, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.728 million viewers, including 36,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 2%.
The program with the biggest uplift however was Monday’s episode of Love Island on Nine which had an 84% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 659,000 viewers overall.
