The Connect Agency launches micro influencer division Connect Engage

The Connect Agency has launched a micro influencer booking agency, Connect Engage.

The division will represent content creators in the interiors, health and wellness, and kids and family spaces. It will also work with the PR, creative, and talent representation arms of the business.

The launch of Connect Engage continues the expansion of the business. Earlier this year, Connect PR rebranded to The Connect Agency and added the Connect Talent and Connect Creative divisions to the business.

Managing director, Megan Rose, said the addition of digital influencers will bring the agency’s campaigns to life.

“As a PR agency we consistently achieve results for clients with influencer marketing campaigns. So, we are thrilled to now represent some of our tried and tested favourite influencers. Alongside them we will share our expertise to assist other brand managers and PR companies to deliver campaigns on time and on budget,” Rose said.

“Driving brand awareness and engagement in the current digital environment takes an ‘always on’ approach working across multiple platforms. Adding digital influencers to a campaign checklist brings campaigns to life, provides additional content for brand social channels, and drives messages further to a highly engaged audience.”

Rose continued that Connect Engage will take the time consuming work of sourcing digital content creators away from clients.

“Often businesses don’t know how to identify influencers and even if they do, it’s a laborious process to then contact them. They have to put in the hours direct messaging them via Instagram or scroll through numerous irrelevant applications on some of the automated systems available,” she said.

“However, with Connect Engage, if a brand or agency are looking to secure influencers to drive brand awareness and complement their communications strategies, our agency will take on the job’s entirety offering an end-to-end booking service.”

Jen Gyles has been appointed as brand partnerships manager for the Connect Talent and Engage divisions. She joins from the Home of the Arts and has previously spent time at News Corp Australia and Australian Consolidated Press (now Bauer Media).

Rose welcomed Gyles into the business.

“Jen is a powerhouse when it comes to building relationships, negotiating deals and creating campaigns with real value for partners. Her experience having worked with leading brands including Nestle, Arnotts, Masterfoods and Toyota in the traditional media landscape will be an asset to our talent and influencers,” Rose said.
