The Dog House wins entertainments while Nine tops Tuesday

Ten’s The Dog House was the #1 entertainment program on Tuesday night, however it was Nine which celebrated an overall network share win.

The Dog House aired to an average of 433,000 metro viewers, while also winning the key advertising demo of 16-39 year old’s.

Nine’s Travel Guides was next in entertainment, pulling in a metro audience of 420,000, followed by an episode of ABC’s children’s program Bluey which had 414,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s The Chase Australia brought in a metro audience of 414,000, followed by Nine’s The Weakest Link which saw 361,000.

The #1 program on Tuesday was Seven News which had 814,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 which aired to 786,000.

As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 28.5% over Seven’s 27.4%, while Ten had 19.5% and ABC took a 16.5% share.

Nine won the primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.3%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 7 December, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.359 million viewers, including 27,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 2%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Ten’s NCIS: LOs Angeles, and an episode of ABC’s Books That Made Us, which both had a 16% uplift on overnight figures.
