The lifts have ears

It was an interesting insight into how some agency folk view the little people during the Mumbrella Readers Choice Awards.  

A friend of the Mumbrella team – who has a relatively high profile with the marketing industry – helped out by operating the lift up to the fourth floor of the Studio 33 facilities where the live stream was taking place. She discovered that putting on a T-shirt reading “Crew” and doing an apparently menial job effectively rendered her invisible to many of the bigwigs.

Not only did people from the industry who she’d chatted to for lengthy periods of time at recent Christmas functions completely fail to recognise or acknowledge her, but some happily chatted away to colleagues as if nobody was listening, letting slip some very indiscreet information.

Happily that infromation is now in Dr Mumbo’s hands.
