The Local Project, Broadsheet Media and more shortlisted for 2024 Mumbrella Publish Awards

Broadsheet Media, The Local Project and Man of Many are just some of the shortlisted publishers for the 2024 Mumbrella Publish Awards.

Online publication, and 2023’s Publishing Company of the Year, Broadsheet Media has received four nominations across the following categories: Best Use of Video; Salesperson/Team of the Year; Branded Content Studio of the Year; and Publishing Company of the Year – Small/Large.

The Best Use of Video category also supports a nomination for the design publication, The Local Project.

In addition to that, The Local Project will be entering the night with three other nominations. Its chief executive officer and founder, Aidan Anderson, is in the running for Publish Leader of the Year, while the company is a contender for Brand of the Year and Publication of the Year.

Men’s lifestyle and hobbies publication, Man of Many, has work in the sector being recognised in several categories: Event or Virtual Event of the Year, Website of the Year, Brand of the Year, Best Use of Video, Branded Content Studio of the Year, and Editor of the Year – a nomination for the publication’s editor-in-chief Nicholas Hall.

The news that the awards would be returning for another year was accompanied by the reveal of a new category, Educational Publication of the Year – an award developed to highlight the efforts of education publishers.

The category has three nominees: Key Media for The Educator, Kiindred, and Campus from Nine Entertainment for Publishing.

The Mumbrella Publish Awards 2024 will be held on September 26 at Jones Bay Wharf’s Doltone House.

Mumbrella can confirm that prolific comedian and host, Merrick Watts, will be the official MC for the night.

Merrick Watts

Beginning his entertainment career in the early 2000s in the Merrick and Russo comedy duo, before establishing himself as a solo comic and actor, Watts is set to bring his infectious, sharp humour to the awards to keep the energy high from beginning to end.
