The Masked Singer holds strong for Ten, delivering 929,000 metro viewers on Monday night

After a soft launch to 823,000 metro viewers, Ten’s The Masked Singer seems to have found its feet, delivering 929,000 for the reveal on Monday night.

The episode leading up to it brought in 767,000 metro viewers, sitting above the launch episode last week which delivered 733,000.

In 2019, the show brought in 1.063m metro viewers for the reveal on its third episode and 835,000 for the program leading up to it.

The show was the most-watched entertainment program of the night, sitting above Nine’s Australian Ninja Warrior State of Origin special (736,000 metro viewers) and Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife (719,000).

Nationally, the reveal on The Masked Singer delivered 1.254m, making it the most-watched of the night in the entertainment programs, but Farmer Wants a Wife slipped into second place with 1.147m.

Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? delivered 712,000 metro viewers. Both it and The Masked Singer topped all three of the key advertising demographics – 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s.

Overall, the win for the night went to Nine with a 27.0% network audience share and 19.7% for its main channel. Seven held 25.0% and 17.4%, while Ten secured 21.4% and 15.8%.

ABC held 18.3% and 14.0% for its main channel. The most-watched multi-channel was 10 Bold with 3.6%.
