The Queensland University of Technology opens agency tender

The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has opened a tender for a creative agency with digital and media buying capabilities.

As posted on Queensland Tenders on Thursday, QUT is seeking a creative and digital agency with media buying capabilities to provide advertising and marketing content, insight, strategy as well as media planning and buying for QUT’s corporate and faculty ad campaigns.

QUT spends between $3m and $6m

QUT’s annual expenditure is between $3m and $6m, including media buying.

BCM is currently QUT’s agency of record.

QUT’s chosen agency will be able to “work collaboratively, show “excellent creative work with a good understanding of the competitive market” and “be a good cultural match”.

The tender states the winning agency will: “Deliver high-quality and integrated campaigns for the QUT corporate brand.

“Deliver high-quality and integrated campaigns for QUT faculties. This may include marketing of undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialty programs in line with faculty-specific priorities.

“Plan and collaborate with QUT to ensure a whole-of-year, whole-of-university approach to campaign management.”

As part of the partnership with QUT, the selected creative agency with media buying services, will also need to promote QUT’s Open Day at the end of July and boost its student recruitment levels.

QUT is seeking an agency who will be able to deliver campaigns across radio, TV, online, social media, print, outdoor and native content.

The tender closes on June 29 at 2pm.
