Dr Mumbo is highly impressed by the effort put in by GPY&R ahead of its media dinner later this month.
The agency has obtained photos of all of the journalists on the guest list, sent personalised invites and entreated the journalists to take part in an online fight featuring avatars of their rivals.
The fact that they’ve spelt the name of the editor of AdNews wrong is of course something that brings Dr Mumbo no joy whatsoever.

Cute idea – worth noting AdNews actually did this exact thing with all the agency heads a few years ago – anyone in a registered agency could play and there was a leaderboard with prizes. Even better, they had special moves for each character. Harold Mitchell could do somersault fly-kicks.
