The Voice Australia tops entertainment as Seven wins Tuesday

The Voice Australia has topped entertainment on Tuesday, as the network celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 735,000 metro viewers, however it was Seven News which took key advertising demo, 16-39, and Nine’s Lego Masters which won demos, 18-49, and 25-54.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 12 April, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.540 million viewers, including 35,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%.

The program with the highest uplift of that week was an episode of Seven’s The Rookie at 747%, with a Total TV audience of 460,000 and 40,000 nationally on BVOD.

Looking back at Tuesday’s ratings, next in entertainment was Nine’s Lego Masters which aired to an average metro audience of 572,000 viewers.

Seven’s The Chase Australia was next, airing to a metro audience of 559,000, followed by an episode of Home and Away on Seven with 525,000 metro viewers.

Ten’s MasterChef was next, pulling in a metro audience of 436,000, while Hot Seat on Nine saw 416,000 metro viewers tune in.

Seven News was the  #1 metro program on Tuesday with 1.038 million metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30pm with 977,000 metro viewers, while Nine News had 840,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6:30pm brought in 828,000 metro viewers.

Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 32% over Nine’s 28%, while Ten took a 17% share and the ABC had 14.3%.

Seven also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 7TWO 4.4%.
