This year’s event theme is ‘economic recovery post-COVID’ with panel discussions and keynote presentations set to unpack the business implications of the global pandemic and empower Australians to take control of their finances and future through four key topics:

The Global Outlook and Economic Recovery – How the world has changed in 2020

Leadership – True leaders are forged in a crisis

The New Investors – How to build a business of the future

Investing – What we can learn from history and how to invest during a recession

Yahoo Finance All Markets Summit first launched in Australia in 2019 with Peter Costello headlining the event.

Yahoo Finance ANZ Editor-in-Chief and moderator of the event Sarah O’Carroll expressed her excitement in announcing the unrivalled lineup of speakers.

“The virtual format of this year’s All Markets Summit has opened doors to even more exceptional talent that supports our commitment to delivering the best quality financial information straight from the experts. This year we’ll be facilitating important conversations off the back of a tumultuous 2020 filled with unprecedented economic, financial and social challenges.

“Following the success of our Yahoo Finance digital events that launched earlier this year including the Women’s Money Movement and our Live Online Breakfast Club series, we’re looking forward to continuing our easily accessible, trusted digital content that informs and educates.”

Former Prime Minister of Australia Kevin Rudd added: “There is no single ‘best practice’ in times of such immense upheaval and with seemingly more change than stability occurring across the market, I’m excited at this opportunity to reflect with my peers on what we have learnt in such a challenging period.”
