Fox News shows there’s nothing like balanced reporting
US cable news network Fox News might be known for its right wing views, but the views of this “terrorism expert” have come as a surprise to many in the UK’s second largest city, and sparked a Change.org petition.
Live on TV Steven Emerson revealed that ‘in Britain, it’s not just no-go zones – there are actual cities like Birmingham that are totally muslim, where non-muslims just simply don’t go in’.
The comments have stirred action for a tongue in cheek Change.org petition called ‘Let non-Muslims back in to the city of Birmingham’.
Fortunately for Emerson 21st Century Fox chairman Rupert Murdoch has also been expounding some interesting views over the recent terrorist atrocities on Twitter.
Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible.

Big jihadist danger looming everywhere from Philippines to Africa to Europe to US. Political correctness makes for denial and hypocrisy.

Is their a strategy behind Murdoch’s tweets, or is he literally blasting them out, without any guidance at all?

@Strage times – no strategy, no guidance, simply bashing out what an old white man is thinking

You don’t go to Birmingham because no one can understand a word anyone says because their accent is so mental [plus there’s the fact the Spaghetti Junction is the most unusable thing since Windows Vista] … it has absolutely, definitely totally nothing to do with the religious views of the inhabitants.
Which – if anyone has been there – is truly multicultural, not mono-cultural.
Mr Conservative Old White man is a bloody idiot.

I trust Mumbrella will be equally vigilant with ABC and its propensity to seek views from only one side of the debate in future?
Given it’s taxpayer funded, it’s obligated to get both sides, yet it often doesn’t.

What a load of Bo!!ocks
If it’s good enough for Telly Savalas (it almost took his breath away!) then it’s good enough for me (http://bit.ly/1xev6AE)
Okay so that clip is a little dated, but Birmingham is ‘one of the most exciting destinations for 2015’ according to the Daily Mail (http://dailym.ai/1x1AygV) and although it might have a dodgy accent, multi-culturalism is celebrated and like Telly it is most certainly ‘my kinda town”.
Back to your meds Rupert…..

Blood boils at this one.
They are 100% the worst TV network/channel in the world, and that even includes Arena.
I bet my bottom dollar that this guy has never been to Birmingham in his life. I don’t even have to justify what he has said but I have been to Birmingham a couple of times, and the Brummie accent is fantastic. This brilliant multi-cultural hub in the midlands of Britain reminds of Melbourne in many ways, and is fabulous place to visit.
If I had the money, I would buy out Mr Murdoch, and call it “Pox News”.

What disturbs me most is, that this is the ONE that is picked up, the dozens/hundreds/thousands of other lies the Murdoch media spreads go unnoticed and believed by an increasing number of the idiocracy generation
