Third Hemisphere expands into Melbourne, makes two new hires
PR agency Third Hemisphere has strengthened its presence in the Australian market with the opening of a Melbourne office.
Said to mark a commitment to expanding its expertise and service offerings, the Melbourne office and new hires – Erika Rutledge and Milanny Odon – will support the agency in amplifying voices in the climate, technology, and finance sectors.
Rutledge joins the agency as an account director, bringing over a decade of experience in PR.
She has worked with leading brands and companies including ANZ, News Corp, AirBnB, and Nestlé, among others. She helped facilitated the debut of ANZ’s TikTok account, launched The Australian’s inaugural Green Power Player’s 100 List, and led a campaign that secured three years’ worth of medical research funding for the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.

Meanwhile, Odon joins Third Hemisphere are an account executive, bringing extensive experience from her work in the Philippines and Southeast Asia including Ogilvy and TELUS International.
As an expert in corporate communications, integrated marketing, influencer and social content, and crisis management, she will contribute greatly to the agency’s efforts.

According to Hannah Moreno, founder and CEO of the agency, the appointments will help solidify Third Hemisphere’s position as a market leader.

The office will be located on Collins St in Melbourne’s CBD.
Moreno is confirmed to return to the Mumbrella CommsCon stage in 2025, on a panel moderated by Third Hemisphere’s managing director Jeremy Liddle. The panel will also feature Comms Declare founder Belinda Noble and another PR expert, to be announced in due course.
