But he was rather under the impression that the general idea is to offer a product that’s cheaper than the original recommended retail price.
But oo.com.au seems to have other ideas…

Crikey, even if the sale price and RRP are in the wrong place, the percentage is still wrong.

A saving of 45% would mean a RRP of $163.55.
Here’s my theory: They’ve incorrectly rounded down to $163, then they’ve accidentally transposed the 3 and the 6, then they’ve omitted the 1, giving you $36.
