Trading Post takes the fight to Carsales with ‘Good as gone guarantee’

In a fight back against market leader Carsales.com.au, online classifieds website Tradingpost.com.au has launched a campaign based on the new proposition, the ‘Good as gone guarantee’.

The campaign is the first effort from The Monkeys, which won a place on the Telstra business following the exit of BWM in June.

The TV ad is supported by print, outdoor and radio executions.

Andrew Beecher, manager of consumer and digital marketing, told Mumbrella: “Our advertising has been hit and miss in the past. This campaign is reflective of what a dotcom is expected to do – not just build a brand but drive transactions.

He added: “The Monkeys have their heads screwed on the right way. They really get what we’re trying to do. They’re what every marketing manager could want from an agency.”
