Travel Guides tops entertainment as Nine secures the night

Nine’s Travel Guides on Wednesday night topped metro entertainment programming, as the network also celebrated an overall share win.

The show’s Melbourne episode last night aired to 632,000 metro viewers, followed by comedy series Utopia on ABC with 557,000 metro viewers.

The Chase Australia landed 545,000 metro viewers for Seven, while the network’s Home and Away pulled in 497,000.

Seven News was the #1 metro program of the night with 901,000 viewers, but Seven News at 6:30 and Nine News topped all three key demos.

Nine Network won the night with a 28.5% overall share, followed by Seven with 27.4%, ABC with 18.6% and Ten with 17.6%.

Nine was the top-rated primary channel with a 20.6% share, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.9%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 7 June, Seven News was the #1 program with a Total TV audience of 1.481 million, with a 3% uplift and 43,000 on national BVOD.

ABC’s Utopia had the biggest uplift of 58%, with a total audience of 1.315 million and national BVOD audience of 278,000.
