TV Ratings: Nine hits a high note with The Voice
Last night saw a strong performance for Channel Nine on the back of The Voice with the station achieving a 29.3 per cent share on its main channel, after drawing in 1.64m viewers for the show.
Nine had the top three shows with Nine News pulling an audience of 1.41m nationally and The Block – Sky High achieving 1.39m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM.
Rival Seven was at a 20.4 per cent share on its main channel while the ABC beat Channel Ten with 13.6 per cent compared with 11.0 per cent.
Seven’s House Rules, which has struggled in its first weeks, managed over one million viewers with an audience of 1.07m for its reveal episode.
The ABC’s Monday night line up performed well with six shows in the Top 20. Australian Story drew an audience of 813,000, while the Four Corner episode revealing the Chinese hackers may have breached ASIO’s security barriers drew 635,000.
