Twenty3 Group hires Tom Woodcock

Mindshare’s Tom Woodcock has been appointed to the role of digital manager at sport and entertainment marketing consultancy Twenty3 Group.   

The annoucement:

3 November 2010, Melbourne: Leading sport and entertainment marketing consultancy Twenty3 Group has appointed Tom Woodcock to the role of Digital Manager.

Woodcock joins in the newly created role after spending four years at media agency Mindshare in Melbourne where he was most recently appointed one of the agency’s ‘worldwide digital champions’.

John Tripodi, Chief Executive Officer of the Twenty3 Group, said: “We are delighted that Tom is joining Twenty3 and taking up the challenge to lead and service the growing digital needs of our expanding client base.”

In his new role, Woodcock will be responsible for formulating and executing digital marketing initiatives designed to drive fan engagement levels for Twenty3 clients such as Dainty Consolidated Entertainment, and golf’s PGA of Australia. He will report to Charlotte Whittle, Digital Director of Twenty3 based in Melbourne.

“I have been impressed with what Twenty3 has been able to accomplish in a very short period of time,” added Woodcock. “It is an exciting time to be joining Twenty3 and working alongside talented colleagues to expand the firm’s digital service capabilities.”

His appointment is effective 3rd November.
