Remember the exciting moment in Sydney radio history when Vega’s Tony Squires launched himself onto Twitter?
It made a whole, half-hearted segment on the station’s struggling breakfast show.
Well three weeks later and it’s fair to say they appear to have abandoned the project.
Since the big launch to listeners, Squires has tweeted a grand total of six times, with the most recent effort being on August 14. The third-from-last effort was a soon-to-be-broken promise to “tweet more and speak in third person less”.
His 219 followers must be beside themselves with disappointment.
