UK-based health and wellness brand appoints Claxon as media and creative agency

Independent agency Claxon has been appointed as the media and creative agency of record for a UK-based health and wellness brand, tasked with driving the brand’s growth and reach.

Phizz – a 3-in-1 hydration, electrolyte and vitamin tablet brand – was founded to “help people feel their best, every day”, according to the brand’s website. Guided by a “distinguished PhD neuroscientist and Oxford scholar”, Phizz is said to hydrate beyond water, packing essential nutrients into one easy solution.

Claxon will use creative AI to help drive sustainable growth and success for the brand, and its immediate remit includes building an omni-channel media strategy for the UK market.

“We’re delighted to add one of the UK’s fastest growing wellbeing brands to our roster and honoured to spearhead the brand’s transformative omni-channel strategy. The partnership presents an exciting opportunity for Claxon to showcase its capabilities in strategy, media and creativity, underpinned by AI, and we’re committed to helping the brand engage more customers and reach its market expansion goals,” said Claxon’s recently appointed head of growth, Brian Collins.

He said the agency’s mission is to empower brands like Phizz to thrive in the digital age, by providing strategic insights and creative solutions that are necessary to stay “ahead of the curve”.

“Central to our approach is harnessing the power of AI and creativity to create impactful media campaigns across all brand touchpoints, driving engagement and fostering brand loyalty,” he adds.

Phizz’s head of marketing, Olivia Morrison, said: “When we noticed Claxon’s creative AI work in market, we knew they would be an excellent brand partner to elevate our presence and match our brand’s ambitions.

“We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and launching the first campaign to market under Claxon’s watch.”

The win comes in the same week Claxon announced the acquisition of Gold-Coast based creative agency Embark. In an effort to deepen its existing creative capabilities, the acquisition marks a major step in Claxon’s continued growth trajectory.

In January last year, Claxon also acquired media agency Growe Media, and promoted chief strategist Danny Molyneux to general manager shortly after. Since then, it has made more senior appointments in Collins and Jake Kay-Lawson, who was promoted to strategy director, where he reports straight to Molyneux.

Just last month, Claxon was appointed as the digital performance agency of record for global cosmetic clinics brand Sisu Clinic. It joins Binance, Dymocks Bookstores, Chempro, Accor Hotels and Polaris on the agency’s client roster.
