UM claims marketing first for Zuji

Media agency UM Sydney has claimed that its technology has enabled the tightest targeting yet of online holiday hunters for client Zuji.

The technology enables ads with the latest travel deals to be served immediately to people searching for flights or holidays. It also allows people to receive deals based on what they’ve shown an interest in, across 95% of Australian sites, according to a UM press release.

“Bringing the MediaMind technology to Zuji enables us to serve the most relevant messages for consumers providing real time pricing and offers,” said Daniel Cutrone, communication manager at UM. “It is another step to making Zuji a faster and a more efficient one-stop environment for travelers.”

In May, the travel brand became the first Australian firm to use promoted tweets.

Zuji Australia MD James Gaskell added: “As an online company, we’re reliant on tech-savvy customers.  They want the best offer fast and they don’t want to waste time being sold something they’re not interested in. We’re here to let our customers be in control of their own travel and this technology helps us do this.”
