UM wins Cudo

Mediabrands agency UM has been appointed by group buying firm Cudo.

The announcement:

September 18, 2012: UM Australia has been awarded media communications duties for group buying company Cudo, an Mi9 company. 

UM’s appointment will involve it working with Cudo on a brand strategy project in addition to providing on-going communications strategy and mediainvestment services. 

Mike Sneesby, CEO of Cudo, said, “We’re confident UM can help us evolve our brand so we can take full advantage of the changes we are seeing in the group buying space”. 

Mat Baxter, CEO of UM Australia, said the Cudo appointment was an exciting challenge for the agency. “Group buying is an extremely competitive category but Cudo has an amazingly strong brand and we think it can become even stronger,” he said. 

The agency’s appointment is effective immediately.
