Unilever pushes green message at Sydney Festival

To push its status as the sustainability partner of the Sydney Festival, Unilever has launched a campaign to encourage festival goers to “take small actions that can add up to a big difference for the environment.”

The agency behind the campaign was sustainability specialist Republic of Everyone. The animation company was Mathematics.

The videos are running on the Sydney Festival’s website.

At the event, Unilever will be holding a talk titled ‘Can Consumption Become Sustainable?’

Sebastian Lazell, senior VP of Unilever Australia and New Zealand, said: “Having recently launched the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan we are delighted to be working with Sydney Festival on its own sustainability journey through this innovative partnership. Together, we hope to bring sustainability into everyday conversations and to inspire consumers to take small actions that will enable us to all live more sustainably.”

Matt Perry, partner and founder of Republic of Everyone, added: “This campaign demonstrates the importance of sustainability to Unilever and Sydney Festival. Our ambition is to turn companies and organisations into Sustainability Heroes by helping them to find ways to embed sustainability into everything they do.”
