World Cup Video, what a disgrace. Ben Buckley, oh my. Do we have anything in this country that might be relevant – of course we do, but instead Buckley approves tripe like that. Paul Hogan, retired tax cheat. C Freeman, retired, Thorpe, retired, Christ, what a joke. Grade 3 kids would do better, much better. Whether we got the WC or not, just embarassing & people like this are getting paid big $.

Would it not have been better to focus on the sport (if you can call it that) and what it’s done at a grass roots level? After all, the kids now will be the adults in 12 years. Hopefully this means Qatar will amp up their climate change initiatives otherwise everyone will fry.

If anyone honestly thinks that we lost the bid because of our video; please wake up.
Let’s look on the bright side:
Fingers crossed; Australia will play their group games (if qualified) in Vladivostok, which is only an hour time difference from Oz EST (for the Russian World Cup.)
As for Qatar – I don’t think it mattered how good your ad was: Money talks(.)

Is it just me or does the shot of Ian Thorpe on the surf-lifesaving tower @ 0:24 look like it belongs in the “Little Britain” opener…
