Veteran creative Dan Bolton joins DDB Sydney
DDB Sydney has appointed Dan Bolton as its creative partner, adding his 14-plus years of experience to the team.
Bolton’s previous roles at Howatson + Co, Havas London, M&C Saatchi, DDB Aotearoa New Zealand, and Droga5 saw him work on big name clients like Qantas, Coors Light, Heinz and McDonald’s.
At DDB Sydney, his creative focus will primarily be on long-term client Westpac.
“We’re so bloody lucky to have Dan join us,” executive creative director Matt Chandler said.
“He’s made a huge impact on the work already, with some brilliant stuff in the pipeline. Beyond that, he’s talented, he’s nice and he has a glorious beard.”
Bolton said: “I feel really lucky to join the team at DDB to work on Westpac.
“An iconic agency and iconic Aussie brand that wants to do proper brand-building work. What more could I want?
“The whole team is both super smart and kind and there’s plenty of positive energy in the office ahead of some soon-to-be-released work.”
No shade for Mumbrella or for Dan, he’s a good guy. I’m just crying for all our expiry dates if it takes 14 years or so to be “a veteran”.
