The move coms after Allure Media hired Videology’s MD Sarah Wyse and commercial operations director Gemma Labadini.

In a statement, Videology said that it had asked Chris Mooney, VP of product strategy to temporarily run the office, but would be looking outside for a permanent leader.

In a statement to Mumbrella, Videology said: “We have begun the process of identifying an exceptional candidate to assume the Managing Director responsibility for our Australia practice, but want to ensure we find the most qualified fit for the role and therefore will take our time doing due diligence on the search. In the interim Chris Mooney, our VP of Product Strategy, will continue to lead the business and meet the needs of our valued clients.

“Gemma and Sarah are talented individuals and we were sad to see them go, but they were both interested in pursuing new opportunities. They left on their own accord. We wish them the best in their new roles.”

Mooney has been with Videology since it launched its Australian operation four years ago with Wyse at the helm. He was the company’s first local sales director after previously working for Tribal Fusion in Sydney along with BBC Worldwide and Facebook in the UK.

In 2015, Videology was named digital services company of the year at the Mumbrella Awards.
