Virgin Australia and Delta send Nick Cody from Bris-Vegas to Las Vegas in new content series

Comedian and Triple M breakfast radio host, Nick Cody, has fronted the first episode of an online content series from Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines, showcasing the routes the carriers provide which connect Australia to LA and wider United States.

Each episode of the series, created by Emotive, will fly Australian talent from their home town to a namesake in the US to see if they can replicate their success. In Cody’s episode, he is flown from ‘Bris-Vegas’ to Las Vegas.

Whilst travelling in the US, Cody and the other hosts will act as tour guides of their respective cities.

Sophie Dent, Virgin Australia and Delta marketing manager, said: “We wanted to show Aussies how Virgin Australia and Delta are the ultimate wingman to take them, and their dreams, to LA and beyond. Flip Trip highlight our routes and explores all the U.S has to offer, whether you’re pursuing a new opportunity or a holiday. Like both brands, it’s a bit playful and embodies the spirit of optimism and excitement of possibility.”

Rory Pearson, senior creative at Emotive, commented: “It’s never bad when a shoot takes you to Vegas, especially when it’s to create something like Flip Trip – a new format for a show which doesn’t just raise awareness of Virgin Australia’s partnership with Delta, but also gives them an entertaining and enduring platform to build on.”

Each eight-minute episode is backed by a 60 and 15-second trailer, and a 15-second acquisition short.
