Voting goes live for Mumbrella360’s ChangeOneThing session
Voting is now live on the key issues to be tackled by the media industry in this year’s Mumbrella360 ChangeOneThing debate.
The ChangeOneThing session is curated by media agency PHD’s strategy director Chris Stephenson. It aims to agree an agenda for a double session at the Mumbrella360 conference on June 6 and 7 where the industry will agree on a single specific issue to tackle – and agree how to get it done.
The session builds on the Mumbrella360Manifesto, created at last year’s Mumbrella360. PHD has partnered with YouTube to build a voting platform.
Anyone within the media industry is asked to shoot and upload a short video arguing for the change they want to make. Viewers can then vote the proposals up and down.
Chris Stephenson explains:
Suggestions so far include Clemenger BBDO executive planning director Al Crawford who argues for an end to the culture of conservatism (“There’s a giant cork stuck up our collective arses”):
Andy Milne, Ideas Director at DMG Radio wants more time to develop ideas:
Joanna Liddell, business director of Fuse, urges better showcasing of great media work:
Toby Hack, MD of PHD calls for a focus on nurturing mature industry talent:
Voting takes place on the ChangeOne Thing YouTube channel.
Tickets for the conference are available on the Mumbrella360 website.
