Vranken-Pommery Australia appoints Tide PR as its Australian public relations agency

Vranken-Pommery Australia, the local subsidiary of Vranken-Pommery Monopole, has appointed Hardie Grant Media’s Tide PR as its Australian PR agency.

The partnership comes ahead of the Spring Racing and holiday seasons, meaning Tide PR’s focus is on the promotion of Maison Champagne Pommery.

Tide PR will represent two other core brands from Vranken-Pommery’s set of premium rosé brands: Château La Gordonne and Domaine Royal de Jarras. The agency will also soon be launching the Pommery 2020 World Collection.

Vranken-Pommery Monopole is the largest winemaker in Europe, second largest in Champagne, and the largest producer of rosé. It holds properties across Champagne, Provence, Camargue, the Douro, England and California. The business is known for organic and biodynamic wine-growing techniques, and sustainable practices.

Inge Fransen, CEO of Vranken-Pommery Australia, said current uncertainty called for naming a PR partner.

“In times of uncertainty, more than ever it is important to communicate, educate and support the consumer to make an informed choice,” Fransen said.

“Everything is changing, so we must look ahead and build the future. The appointment of Tide PR will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and recognition of our beautiful brands in the Australian market.”

Tide PR director, Stacey McArdle, added: “We are delighted to be appointed the prestigious Vranken-Pommery Australia account and are looking forward to further educating the Australian market about this remarkable group through a strategic public relations campaign.”
