Wavemaker hires new lead for Vodafone account

Wavemaker has appointed Susie Si as group business director to lead the Vodafone account.

Si joins from sister agency Mediacom where she has spent the last eight years. Most recently she was group client lead on News Corp.

Throughout her career, Si has worked across entertainment, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), finance and banking, auto and healthcare for brands including Proctor & Gamble, Westpac and Mercedes-Benz.

She will report to Wavemaker’s Sydney managing director, Ian Edwards, replacing Emily Cook who has relocated to Queensland.

Si said: “Vodafone is a key client and valued partner for Wavemaker, and I’m thrilled to take on this opportunity to head up the partnership and work closely with the Vodafone marketing team to deliver its customer-led strategy through effective and impactful media strategy. I started my career working on a telco client, so it feels like coming full-circle.”

Wavemaker is part of GroupM, the investment arm of WPP AUNZ.
