We Are Different wins PR for gaming brand Turtle Beach and Synergy Group

We Are Different has announced two new PR clients, gaming headset brand Turtle Beach, and consulting and creative firm Synergy Group.

We Are Different was launched in June by former Fleishman Hillard head of consumer, Stuart Terry. Its founding clients were Acast and Synaco Global, and it has since added The Black Dog Institute to its list.

We Are Different won Turtle Beach following a competitive pitch

The account for Turtle Beach was won following a competitive pitch process. We Are Different will be providing PR, social and influencer support to help position the brand as the leading gaming headset amongst Millennial and Generation Z gamers.

Peter Skjellerup, head of marketing at Five Star Games – the local distributor for Turtle Beach – said: “Different stood out with their ideas and bigger campaign thinking, which we’re confident will generate mass media cut-through and drive tangible results for our business. We were impressed by the team’s enthusiasm, smarts and personal commitment to our brand.”

Synergy Group will add to We Are Different’s growing corporate portfolio. The agency has been tasked with increasing national awareness among key business and trade targets.

Synergy Group’s creative director, Jason Perelson, said in a statement: “Different really stood out simply by living up to their name. The team take a personal approach to working together and aren’t the usual suit and tie PRs. They offer a true partnership and results that speak for themselves.”

Terry commented on the wins: “It’s exciting to see both clients and staff responding so well to the agency proposition. As we grow, we cement our commitment to producing creative work that drives business impact by doing things differently.”
