WE Communications names Siobhan Rennie as Sydney’s head of corporate affairs

WE Communications, which rebranded from WE Buchan two weeks ago, has appointed Siobhan Rennie as head of corporate affairs for its Sydney office.

Rennie was previously the director of communications and external affairs at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, and, before that, director of group corporate communications at DDB.

Rennie has almost 20 years’ of experience

The communications firm said the appointment reflects WE Communications’ continued investment in its investor and corporate communications function.

“Our investor and corporate communications team has been rapidly building depth and scale, requiring an executive leader in Sydney to serve our growing client base,” said group head of investor and corporate communication, Kyahn Williamson, to whom Rennie will report.

“Siobhan brings a wealth of pertinent experience, including expertise in government, issues management and stakeholder relations.”

Rennie’s almost 20 years of experience traverses G20 and government to agency, media and startup companies. At WE Communications, she’ll work with her Melbourne counterpart, Libby Woolnough, and with corporate clients including Allianz, the Australian Tax Office, NGS Super, Perpetual and Australian Foundation Investment Company.

“I’m excited to be joining WE during such a pivotal period, becoming part of a well-respected, talented and driven team,” Rennie said.

“I look forward to helping our corporate clients create meaningful communications that resonate with their key stakeholders.”
