Welcome to Tuesday nights – owner: Seven

If Nine currently owns Monday nights with Underbelly, then Seven has a similar lock on Tuesdays. The Rafter family once again helped the network to an emphatic win for the evening.

Packed To The Rafters grabbed a 1.9m audience, in what was another dismal Tuesday for Nine, according to the preliminary OzTam figures. Wipeout struggled in the 7.30pm slot with a 1.1m audience – 15th for the night – and the strategy of threre episodes of Two And A Half Men – at 7, 8.30 and 9 didn’t help much either, delivering audiences of 1.2m, 1.1m and 1m and relegating Nine to third place behind Ten.

NCIS delivered a little better for Ten with its double episodes serving up 1.5m and 1.3m audiences.

Last night: Seven 33.4%; Ten 25.3%; Nine 24.3%; ABC 12.4%; SBS 4.6%
