Wesfarmers Health retail marketing head and Lyre’s Spirit Co CMO booked for Retail Marketing Summit 2025

Insights into building a powerhouse brand in the beauty and health retail sector, and how start-ups can dominate their chosen industry amongst a sea of competitors, are the two latest sessions added to the roster for Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit 2025.

The first talk, ‘Building Accessibility and Connectedness in the Health and Beauty Retail Market’, will place wellness, beauty and health giant, Wesfarmers Health, under a microscope to explore how it successfully leveraged accessibility, emotional connectedness, and heart to develop a powerful brand catalogue – a roster containing Priceline Pharmacy, Clear Skincare, the SILK Group and more – that defines the Australian beauty and health retail industries.

Delivered by Wesfarmers Health’s head of marketing – retail, Corrina Brazel, and in addition to the above, the session will delve into how Brazel revitalised Priceline Pharmacy’s brand while also discovering the how Wesfarmers’ brands are all connected.

She’ll also unveil exciting and oncoming developments in the health and beauty retail sector, such as the launch of the beauty retail store, atomica.

During the session, delegates can expect to experience a masterclass in developing brands that are inherently authentic; discover how and why brand and people bear a symbiotic relationship that results in a sharp competitive edge and higher levels of performance, and unpack why accessible brands can successfully make their customers feel invested in them.

Meanwhile, ‘Maintaining Retail Relevance & Winning the Start-Up Game’ is a must-attend talk for retail marketers and professionals in the start-up space.

Kristy Bloomfield, chief marketing officer at non-alcoholic spirit brand, Lyre’s Spirit Co, is confirmed to be delivering the session. While on stage, Bloomfield will explore the ways in which start-ups can compete alongside competitors and successfully rise above the noise to become a leading brand in the market.

Delegates attending the session are sure to receive a fountain of knowledge they can apply to their own start-ups to shore up their strategies and place themselves ahead of the curve, regardless of what the market throws at them.

Brazel and Bloomfield are the latest marketing experts to be added to next year’s Retail Marketing Summit.

The ICONIC’s chief marketing officer, Joanna Robinson, and v2food’s head of marketing, Jade Lish, were the first pair confirmed for the event. The former is locked in to speak on how The ICONIC rebranded itself; the latter will look at the Ps of marketing and how they can help boost brands’ sustainability initiatives and more.
