When programmatic goes unfortunately wrong…

There was an image which was circulating Twitter this morning, which made Dr Mumbo remember there can sometimes be downfalls to the wonders of programmatic.

With Lismore, Byron Bay and other parts of Northern New South Wales and Queensland experiencing tragic ongoing flooding, promoting Netflix’s new reality show Byron Baes may be best saved for another time.

 

With so many tragic events occurring at the moment, it serves as another reminder that there may need be some cross-checking and extra sensitivity sometimes when it comes to programmatic ad placement.

Pedestrian declined to comment, and Netflix are yet to respond at the time of publishing.
