Will you be my homie?
If you caught this ‘advertisement’ at Sydney airport recently you’d have been forgiven for thinking it was a promo for some schmaltzy new R’n’B singer.
It was in fact the work of an employee of outdoor operator EYE. He used his company’s digital screen to propose to his girlfriend infront of a packed airport.
Vomit-inducing or a wildly romantic gesture? Dr Mumbo thinks he’ll leave it to Mumbrella readers to decide.
I wonder if they made him pay for it?

i liked the new digital ones in the states that are broadcasting live tweets from conan obrien. smart way to showcase new technology for the company. it certainly is getting a lot of press.

At least it was clever.

I may be biased, but I do like this effort.

Aww come on, romance may not be everyone’s cup of tea and not everyone’s idea of romance is the same. Give the guy a break. It was a sentimental gesture, it apparently reached its targeted audience and the result was a positive reception. Better than a drunken proposal in the gutter after a night out partying!!
