Windows 7 – whatever the opposite of great advertising is
If ever a brand was Kryptonite to good advertising, it’s Microsoft’s Window’s 7.
Remember the Windows House Party?
Based on the fact that the video went viral in all its awfulness, Dr Mumbo can only assume that this new effort on behalf of Intel – again related to Windows 7 – is a deliberate attempt to do the same…
Isn’t it?
Windows 7 is to advertising what Mumbrella is to the apostrophe….
Window’s 7 anyone? 😉

Not actually a Windows 7 ad, actually an Intel ad.
Intel’s “Visual Life” series is pretty good though. Check out this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTfAzjBTokc

@Kieran Bycroft, it is actually Windows 7, with no apostrophe.

Yes it is Windows 7…no apostrophe.
But I’m with you Kieran on the errant apostrophe.
Why do so many people insist on using an apostrophe to make a word plural! You see it every day…CD’s instead of CDs…logo’s, instead of logos…1990’s instead of 1990s. What the!!!
It’s enough to drive you to watch awful Microsoft A/Vs!

That ‘Windows House Party’ campaign has got to be THE WORST ad campaign I’ve ever seen. What on earth was the ad agency/Marketing team thinking?

excellent, so having made the point that the upgrades are time consuming, bloated, inefficient and a danger to workflow the suggestion is that I go with them on this one. Trust them?
And speaking of trust, they’ve made root access that much easier for an IT dude at a remote location? Sounds like fun for the whole workforce.

Thank god this was an advertorial, I stumbled across it on a porn
site and thought man I do not want these people to find a reason to nude up.
I think they tagged the video MILF – Microsoft Intel Leak Fakeviral.
