Woolworths brings back Earn & Learn program
Woolworths’ Earn & Learn program has relaunched for 2017 with a national campaign featuring a kids-only band.
The 30-second commercial features an all-kid band sining in a school hall while children stick their Earn & Learn stickers on the wall.
The Earn & Learn program allows schools to earn equipment by shopping at Woolworths and collecting Earn & Learn stickers.
For every $10 spent, one sticker is earned.
Schools can register online and browse Woolworths catalogue.
M&C Saatchi is Woolworths’ creative agency of record.
Michael James, director of stores at Woolworths, said in a statement: “At Woolworths our aim is to be an active contributor to the local community and we know from
previous campaigns that Earn & Learn impacts schools and early learning centres in a positive way, by providing them with much needed equipment.
“We also love seeing the great work schools undertake to inspire our future generation and we’ll be recognising and celebrating their efforts also during the campaign with our very first Inspiring Schools Awards.”

Very impressed with the ‘kids’ band. Were they authentic or miming?
A great advertisement!

Thanks for your lovely comment Lindsay. As you can imagine – it was great fun auditioning the kids and making the ad. We used the lead girl’s voice in the soundtrack. She’s a talent to watch!

Can anyone say Bryan Ferry?! This sounds exactly like his song “Stick Together” – even containing the same exact line from it! I hope he got his share of royalties from this.

Would please tell me when the latest time stickers are to be submitted

Not too sharp on the uptake David. I don’t think it’s coincidental that the melody and lyrics are nearly identical. I’m sure Bryan received royalties from Woolies.
