Workshop makes two new senior hires

Advertising agency Workshop has appointed Sarah White and Julia Thomas as business managers.

The announcement:

Sydney-based creative agency Workshop Australia has appointed two business managers, Sarah White and Julia Thomas, as the agency continues to strengthen its senior talent.

White previously worked at The Creative Shop and has extensive experience in account management on major brands such as Schwarzkopf and James Hardie. Prior to her account management roles she gained broad experience in sales promotions and loyalty programs in the travel industry.

Thomas spent four years working at The Furnace plus time at Lavender working on the Westpac where she managed online and offline direct marketing for the bank.

The appointment of the business managers follows Workshop’s announcement of Tony Vigna as the agency’s associate creative director in August.

“We are building our senior talent to help with the increasing opportunities recent new business wins have given us,” said Workshop’s principal and creative director Jamie Kwong. “Our agency culture and focus on client service is very important to us and the talents, work ethic and down-to-earth nature that both Julia and Sarah possess are a great fit for Workshop.”
