WPP AUNZ launches strategy consulting arm

WPP AUNZ has launched a new strategy consulting division, WPP AUNZ Consulting, dedicated to “unlocking brand and market-led business growth” and providing clients with advice on the business decisions that should be made.

The managing partner of Kantar Vermeer, Caspar Wright, will lead the new division with WPP AUNZ Consulting’s partner, Patrick Fry, who will form part of the leadership team.

Mike Connaghan, CEO of WPP AUNZ, said the new division will help clients win in a fast-paced business environment and play in the right area.

“We believe WPP AUNZ is best placed to give this advice because we are expert marketers that can provide clients from a wide range of industries the clarity and resolute decisions they require.

The new division will be built on a data analytics and consumer research approach, Connaghan said.

“By using futurist thinking principles and adopting a holistic approach, WPP AUNZ Consulting will help companies think differently about where their business is and where it should be going.”

Alongside Wright, the WPP AUNZ Consulting service will consist of senior executives including WPP AUNZ chief data scientist, Rob Pardini and WPP AUNZ chief strategy officer, Rose Herceg.

“WPP AUNZ Consulting will help our clients articulate and implement breakthrough strategies that are based on deep consumer and market understanding.

“The marketing world will change more in the next 10 years than the last 50, and it’s essential for clients to navigate this if they are to engage effectively with their markets and deliver great financial outcomes,” Wright said in a statement.
