You’re Back in The Room finishes with 565,000 viewers, well down on initial debut

youre-back-in-the-roomThe finale of Nine’s Daryl Somers’ hypnotism game show You’re Back In The Room pulled in 565,000 at 7:30pm last night, well down on the series debut of 1.15m metro viewers.

It was easily out-rated by Seven’s My Kitchen Rules which was watched by 1.633m ahead of tonight’s finale, while Ten’s All Star Family Feud grabbed 430,000 metro viewers.

MKR was the most-watched program across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54).

Seven won the evening with an audience share of 26.9%, ahead of Nine’s share of 16.3%. The ABC claimed a share of 13.5% while Ten settled for a share of 9%.

Nine’s Reno Rumble posted its lowest audience ever, attracting 300,000 metro viewers at 8:50pm.

The broadcast of yesterday’s Anzac March on the ABC was watched by 447,000 metro viewers. The broadcast of the Gallipoli Dawn Service was watched by 331,000

In sport, Seven’s Anzac Day AFL match, which saw Collingwood take on Essendon, was watched by 609,000 viewers in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Nine’s Anzac Day NRL match which saw the Roosters take on the Dragons pulled in 377,000 viewers across Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

In news, Seven News at 6pm had an audience of 1.398m, dipping to 1.284m from 6.30pm. Nine News at 6pm pulled in 1.229m, sliding to 1.211m from 6.30pm.

In breakfast TV, the Today Show was watched by 287,000 metro viewers, behind Sunrise’s 307,000 metro viewers.

On pay TV, the premiere of season six of Game of Thrones at 11am was watched by 395,000 national viewers while the 7.30pm repeat of the episode pulled in 285,000 national viewers.

Last year, the premiere of season five saw 236,000 national viewers tune in for the fast-tracked episode at 11:00am and 279,000 watch the repeat 7:30pm screening.
