The announcement:

Y&R New Zealand announces the appointment of one of NZ advertising’s most proven leaders, Fleur Head as the Managing Director of its Wellington office, effective February 1, 2018.

Fleur will partner Rikki Townsley, Y&R Wellington’s GM.

Josh Moore CEO/CCO Y&R NZ says:

“I have worked with Fleur twice in my career, she’s the consummate professional, driven, focused and a true believer that the very best creative and media product drives the very best outcomes for our clients. We’re delighted to have her in our team and feel that Fleur’s choice to join the Y&R family is a strong endorsement of our agency model and our team as a whole.”

Fleur Head MD, Y&R Wellington says:

“Joining the Y&R team was a carefully considered decision. I wanted to work with people who are driven, passionate and challenging. An agency with momentum, but where there was still a lot of potential to continue to grow.  I’m also a massive fan of the integrated agency model but most importantly the chemistry felt right with the Y&R team.”

I’m really excited to be returning to my hometown and truly believe there’s potential to make some of the world’s best work from the capital city.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the most experienced leaders in the industry during my ten plus years in the FCB Management Team and I look forward to applying some of that experience to the dynamic leadership team at Y&R.

Jono Key MD Y&R NZ says:

“Rikki has built a great team in Wellington over the last year culminating in the recent win of the Maori Electoral Commission. Winning more new business in Wellington will be a major focus for the agency as a whole in 2018 and the appointment of such a proven performer in Fleur is a clear signal that we are investing in Wellington and intend to significantly grow our business in the Capital city.”

Rikki Townsley GM Y&R Wellington says:

“I’m really looking forward to be working in partnership with Fleur again. Fleur’s positive impact will be felt not only immediately by the team at Y&R Wellington but also, with talent and experience of such magnitude, across the industry in the capital as 2018 unfolds.

Next year is looking to be an exciting year for the agency, with Fleur’s arrival building further on the recent successes of our integrated, cross-disciplinary agency model.
