Fitzy and Wippa’s 20 to One pulls 715,000 on debut, while Kiss Bang Love falls to 446,000
The return of the 20 to One format, hosted by radio personalities Fitzy and Wippa, on Nine pulled 715,000 metro viewers on its return to the airwaves last night.
The result in the 7:30pm program was out-rated by Ten’s Masterchef, which was the most-watched non-news program of the night with 1.1m, and was also out-rated by Britain’s Got Talent, which aired at 8:30pm on Nine and pulled 759,000 viewers. House Rules last night drew 865,000 viewers in the 7:30pm time slot.
On Seven at 8:30pm, the second episode of Kiss Bang Love drew 446,000 viewers – down on its debut which attracted 513,000 viewers and well down on the numbers Seven achieved for First Dates and Seven Year Switch.
In the news race, Seven won the 6:00pm bulletin with a 1.146m audience compared with 1.076m for Nine, but then lost the 6:30pm bulletin where it had 1.59m to Nine’s 1.085m.
The strength of Masterchef helped Ten narrowly pull the largest main channel audience share of the night with 19.3%. Nine was just behind on a 19% share with Seven on 17.1% and the ABC 11.8%.
Kiss Bang Love deserves to be doing better.
It’s not rocket science, but it’s entertaining – much more so that Seven Year Switch.
